About
Ghost Fitness

My name is Haley, and I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 2019. I’m NASM-certified and a former collegiate athlete at Francis Marion University. My passion for training grew when I had a personal trainer in high-school that made me the fittest I could be and helped me be the most confident mentally and physically.

Being a former athlete who struggled with injuries and body image is a huge part of why I created Ghost Fitness in 2025. I have had injuries that took me out for an entire year, and even now I still have moments where confidence and body image affect me mentally. Trying to navigate the “new image” of my body and find ways to be confident. I know how hard it is to look back at old pictures, compare yourself to who you used to be, or wonder why your body changed differently than someone else’s.

Those experiences taught me that health is about so much more than appearance. Working in healthcare completely changed my perspective on what truly matters, building strength, improving balance, fueling your body well, and focusing on the “sciency things” like blood sugar, lab results, energy, and overall quality of life. Ghost Fitness was built to help people make realistic, positive changes physically and mentally while learning to feel strong, capable, and confident again.

When not at work, I am usually pet sitting, coaching soccer, with my husband Kyle running races or walking our dogs Frazier and Moshe, cuddling/napping with my cats Toothless and Poppie Mae, or watching a sports game/playing soccer.

Why “ghost fitness”

The name Ghost Fitness came from wanting something that felt personal and stood out. I’ve always liked bold, unique names, and since my birthday is on Halloween, the theme of a ghost felt like a natural fit. I also wanted to incorporate my favorite color, orange, which ties in perfectly with the Halloween theme. Combining those personal elements with a strong, memorable name led to the creation of Ghost Fitness.
