My name is Morgan Haley Rufer (I go by Haley), and I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 2019. I’m NASM-certified and a former collegiate athlete at Francis Marion University, where my passion for fitness really grew.

As an athlete, I’ve also dealt with injuries and the challenges that come with them—learning how to adjust when your body doesn’t feel or look the same, when recovery takes longer, and when your fitness level changes. I know how tough it can be physically and mentally to adapt to a “new version” of yourself, but I truly believe those changes can be turned into something positive and empowering.

I also spent several years working in healthcare, which showed me how important strength and movement are for feeling good and staying independent.

I created Ghost Fitness as a private, one-on-one training space where you can feel comfortable, confident, and supported. My goal is to make training fun, effective, and something you actually enjoy—while helping you feel your strongest and healthiest.

Why “ghost fitness”

The name Ghost Fitness came from wanting something that felt personal and stood out. I’ve always liked bold, unique names, and since my birthday is on Halloween, the theme of a ghost felt like a natural fit. I also wanted to incorporate my favorite color, orange, which ties in perfectly with the Halloween theme. Combining those personal elements with a strong, memorable name led to the creation of Ghost Fitness.
